"I Paid N10k For it": University Student Refuses to Return Matriculation Gown After Ceremony, Goes Home With it (watch)

 



A video of a fresh university student who refused to return her matriculation gown after the ceremony has gone viral online.

Matriculation is the formal ceremony in which Freshers’ are officially enrolled into the University. There is a designed gown for the occasion and price range depends on the school.

Students are allowed to put on the gown to grace the ceremony and after, they are expected to return it back to their respective department

In the video circulating online, the young lady refused to return the gown due to the price she paid for the garment.

The freshly admitted student wore it like a house dress while washing her clothes outside, telling her audience that she was at home.

According to the lady, wearing the gown longer makes sense, because she spent N10,000 on it.

The young lady however, clearly stated in the video, that she would wear her gown until she got her money’s worth.
